Jennifer Cadie doesn’t hold any fancy degrees and isn’t someone who knew from birth that she wanted to be a writer. That idea hadn’t entered her mind until her late teens. Rather than figuring out how to become a writer, she told herself being a novelist was an impractical career and instead went on to pursue a wide array of odd jobs ranging from department manager at a big box store, travel agent, hotel and airline reservationist, a brief stint at the local phone company, office worker, and finally landing in the healthcare field.
Fortunately, the writing bug took hold once again and over the years Jennifer has been practicing her craft, which has resulted in a few completed short stories and a boatload of unfinished first drafts. She lives in the South where she is currently working on completing her first mystery novel.
